This passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor watches for human sized movement within a selected area while ignoring your medium size pets weighing up to 85lbs. This allows your cat or dog to move freely around your home without accidentally setting off an alert. This motion sensor has a 90° cone of coverage with a maximum range of 40 ft. deep by 40 ft. wide.
