This kit includes a water detection rope, bracket, and mounting screws to increase the water detection area, allowing for more location options for installation. The sensor can be placed in high-risk areas such as under a sink, toilet, hot water tank, or near water supply lines in unheated locations like basements, attics, and kitchen cabinets. As soon as water or an extreme temperature drop is detected, the sensor will transmit an alarm, notifying you of an event that can cause expensive repairs due to a flood or frozen pipes. The Ecolink Flood/Freezer Sensor is compatible with Qolsys, GE, and Interlogix receivers and can work with other systems utilizing the 319.5 Mhz frequency.
