The lock also includes 2 Kwikset keys to allow you to unlock the door via turnkey. For added security, the lock features Intrusion Alert technology, which sounds an alarm and disables the lock when a wrong code is entered 3 times in a row. Place the lock in Vacation Mode if you plan to be away from your home for a long period of time. The Kwikset Powerbolt 250 electronic lock is ideal for entry doors, side doors, garage doors, sheds, or storage rooms; plus, it's extremely durable and comes with a limited warranty (Lifetime Mechanical/ Finish, 1 Year Electronics).

Installation Details
The Kwikset Powerbolt 250 is simple to install; all you need is a screwdriver to remove your old lock and screw in your new one. Depending on the installation, you may also need a ruler, hammer, and wood block. The lock is powered by 4 AA standard batteries (not included), so no wiring is required. When the lock is low on batteries, the lock will make 10 audible beeps and the lock button will flash in red 10 times.
