This smart deadbolt features a 12-digit touchscreen for coded entry with one-touch locking for coded entry. When you arrive home, punch in your code to unlock the door and automatically set up your home just the way you like it. The Lock's Wi-Fi compatibility allows for remote access control using your smartphone or tablet via the Kwikset app.

This Kwikset Smart Lock includes an Auto-Lock feature that automatically locks the Smart Lock after a selectable timed delay (30 seconds, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, or 10 minutes). • Standard Turnkey: Insert one of 2 included turnkeys into the keyhole to lock and unlock the deadbolt. Kwikset's SmartKey Security design efficiently resists advanced break-in and lock picking techniques while also allowing for easy rekeying with Kwikset (KW1) keyway or (SC1) keyway options.
• Kwikset App: No smart home hub is required, all you need is a Wi-Fi router and a smartphone with the Kwikset app installed (Android or iOS). With the Kwikset app, you'll be able to control and manage your lock from anywhere, manage user codes, see lock activity, and receive lock notifications.
• Coded Entry: Up to 250 different user access codes are supported, allowing family, friends, and temporary guests to enter their own codes. Codes are easily created and deleted via the Kwikset app, so you can give temporary access to housesitters, maintenance workers, etc. The deadbolt operates on a one-touch motorized locking mechanism to enable remote locking and unlocking.

User codes can be customized:

• Anytime: Which is ideal for everyday access by family members or friends who frequently come and go.
• For Limited Use: Just set a date range in which a code can be used anytime within that time frame. Perfect for those renting a vacation home, who only plan to have access from one date to another.

Matter Compatibility and Usage

The Kwikset Halo Select Wi-Fi and Matter Enabled Smart Lock can be included into Matter smart home ecosystems to quickly and seamlessly integrate with any existing smart home devices. Installation Details
