This door lock conversion kit replaces the interior assembled thumbturn of your deadbolt lock to add Zigbee compatibility without changing the exterior lock. Replacing only the interior side of the lock maintains the low profile of a standard deadbolt while providing all of the benefits of a Zigbee-connected Kwikset smart lock. The Conversion Kit adds basic smart lock functionality to your front door including remote locking/unlocking, remote notifications, 30-second auto lock, and integration into Zigbee automated scenes. Connect your Kwikset Convert Smart Lock to a Zigbee smart hub to enable remote access and notifications through the hub's mobile app to lock/unlock your door from anywhere.

Installation Details

The Kwikset Convert Smart Lock replaces the interior assembly of your deadbolt and fits onto most standard doors. All that is needed is a screwdriver to replace the lock assembly and tape to secure the exterior lock during installation. The Kwikset Convert Smart Lock is not compatible with rim, mortise, or integrated locks.
