This wireless smart lock provides access 4 different ways via your smartphone (iOS and Android), an Apple Watch, an August Keypad (sold separately), or with the original key. The wireless remote door lock fits onto the inside of your door and works with existing deadbolts and turnkeys, making installation quick and easy.

The August Wi-Fi Smart Lock is compatible with AutoSwing Automatic Door Opener Systems. When both the August Wi-Fi Smart Lock and Autoslide AutoSwing are connected to your Internet network, you can control both devices from either the August Home, AutoSlide, or Yale Access mobile apps from anywhere, plus share access with others, and check on device status and usage history.
August App: Control Your Front Door from Anywhere

- Activity Feed: See exactly when someone enters or leaves your home with the Activity Feed in the August app. You'll get to see the exact time your front door was unlocked or locked, and by which family member, guest, or visitor.
August Smart Lock Security
- Door Sense: As part of its design, the August WiFi Smart Lock has DoorSense, a sensor that notifies you when your door is securely closed and locked. You'll have peace of mind knowing you won't have to worry about returning home to check if your door is actually locked.
- Smart Alerts: Receive alerts if the status of your lock changes and be the first to know if your door was left open, locked, or unlocked.
- Encryption: Both Bluetooth Energy technology encryption and TLS is used in mobile applications.
- Authentication: With an added level of security, August products require users to provide a second form of identification with an email or phone number.
- Lost Phone: If you lose your phone don't worry. You'll be able to quickly disable your August app and all virtual keys easily on your associated devices (visit lostphone.august.com).
