The monitor is designed with a 7-inch color TFT display with a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication with the camera. It also has buttons for Monitor, Talk, E-Lock, and Relay Unlock (operate an electromagnetic lock or door strike, sold separately).
The camera and monitor have a simple 2-wire connection and operate with each other within a 230-foot (70 meters) range. The camera features a 2.1mm lens with a 1/3" CMOS sensor and 700 TV lines of resolution. It has built-in IR LEDs for nighttime operation, a doorbell button, and a microphone and speaker for two-way communication. You can also easily connect an extra camera (DP-264-CQ, sold separately) and up to two additional monitors (DP-264-M7Q, sold separately) to view multiple entrances around the house.
