ABBM2307
Add security to your building's elevator by controlling which floors people can access with the ABB Elevator Lift Control Relay Module, integrated into your ABB Door Entry System. Once set up, individual residents will be limited to entering and inviting visitors into only their authorized floor(s), while unauthorized users won't be able to enter the elevator at all. Each module supports up to 16 floors, and multiple modules can be cascaded to expand capacity.
How It Works for Residents
When a resident arrives home and needs to reach their floor by elevator, they will first need to approach the nearby ABB Outdoor Station and either input their password or swipe a proximity card/tag. Upon confirmed authorization, the elevator lift will go to the floor of the activated station and allow the resident to enter.
After authorization, the resident will have a customizable set amount of time (default 10 minutes) to enter the elevator and press the desired floor number button, as they would in a typical elevator. However, the resident will only be able to activate the floor(s) they are authorized to enter. Pressing a button for an unauthorized floor will not do anything. When an authorized floor is chosen, the elevator lift will rise to the appropriate floor and let the resident exit.
When the resident needs to leave home and exit the building, the elevator may be called and entered simply by pressing a traditional wall button. The lift will then allow entry and take the resident directly to the building's exit floor.
How It Works for Visitors
When a guest comes to visit a resident, the visitor will need to approach the nearby ABB Outdoor Station and first make a call to the resident, either by pressing the appropriate pushbutton or by entering the correct name/code into the keypad. The resident's ABB Indoor Station will ring, giving the resident an opportunity to talk with their visitor and to authorize them for elevator entry by pressing the "unlock" button on the indoor station.
After authorization, the elevator works the same way as it does for residents. The visitor will have a customizable set amount of time (default 10 minutes) to enter the elevator and press the desired floor number button, as they would in a typical elevator. However, the visitor will only be able to activate the floor(s) they are authorized to enter. Pressing a button for an unauthorized floor will not do anything. When an authorized floor is chosen, the elevator lift will rise to the appropriate floor and let the visitor exit.
When the visitor needs to leave and exit the building, the elevator may be called and entered simply by pressing a traditional wall button. The lift will then allow entry and take the visitor directly to the building's exit floor.
The ABB Elevator Lift Control Relay Module ideally installs in the lift cabin and must be wired into your lift controller. It communicates with your ABB System Controller through the Elevator M Adapter (model M2306, sold separately).
NOTE: Requires 2-wire connection to the Elevator M Adapter (M2306), sold separately. Also wires into your elevator/lift controller. Installation hardware not included. A Windows PC is required to configure settings at the adapter.
Also known as the "Welcome" system, the Door Entry System is a first-of-its-kind modular intercom and access control system that offers one flexible solution for any intercom and entry security application. Customizable, nearly endlessly scalable, and easy to install, the system is perfect for any building, from a small single-family home to a huge residential complex.

How to Build Your System
Every ABB Door Entry System needs at least two components: a System Controller (either standard or mini) and an Audio Module (any variation). With these two foundational components, the system can be expanded and customized as needed. Additional system components may include:
Other accessories are also available for installation and connection. Most notably, in order to build a custom modular outdoor station, you will need to select the modules you wish to include in the station, and then match the number of modules to the appropriate size Flush-Mounted Box and Faceplate. (Flush-mounted boxes support optional surface-mounting in addition to flush-mounting. When surface-mounting, a Rain Hood is also required; only optional when surface-mounting.) The screwless, snap-on design of both outdoor and indoor stations makes installation a breeze.
