Convert a Standard Outlet into a Smart Qolsys Controlled Outlet

Add virtually any plug-in device to your PowerG compatible smart system with the Qolsys IQ Smart Socket, PowerG! This smart PowerG compatible outlet allows plug-in devices using a combined amperage of up to 15A to be remotely controlled and included into a PowerG compatible system, such as the Qolsys IQ 4 Hub or IQ4 NS Panel. Devices plugged into either receptacle of the Smart Socket can be controlled by on-demand or automated On/Off commands from a connected switch, the outlet itself, a PowerG controller, or from a smart mobile device via the Alarm.com app. Each receptacle can be independently turned On/Off to protect the Smart Socket and conserve energy usage. Two buttons with built-in LED indicators between the receptacles show the status of plugged in devices and which outlet the button commands and reports the status of. The IQ Smart Socket, PowerG combines a sleek, modern aesthetic with reliable wireless technology to add intuitive smart home control to select plug in devices in your home.

Installation Details

The IQ Smart Socket fits into a single-gang installation and replaces an existing outlet. Easily add the Socket into your Qolsys system through buttons inputs on the socket listed in the instructions or by scanning the QR code printed on the box label. Neutral wiring is required for installation.
