Increase the number of smart home or smart security controllers with the Qolsys IQ Remote PowerG. The Qolsys IQ Remote PowerG pairs with the IQ4 Hub, IQ Panel 4 and IQ Pro security system via Wi-Fi or PowerG wireless communications and works as a secondary tablet to control all of your smart wireless devices from an additional location in your home or business. Use the IQ Remote the same way you use the primary Qolsys IQ 4 Hub or IQ Panel 4 (each sold separately) as a security or automation controller, surveillance monitor, thermostat, digital photo frame, and security siren. Like the Qolsys IQ 4 Hub or IQ Panel 4 , control your Wi-Fi and PowerG compatible devices including switches, locks, thermostats, garage doors, and more. Up to eight IQ Remotes can be paired with the IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub, which will allow you control of your automation and security system from other rooms in your home.

Installation Details

Place an IQ Remote PowerG in a secondary location where the main IQ Panel has trouble reaching but still has access to reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, such as the kitchen, garage, or bedroom. The IQ Remote PowerG provides additional features you don't get when using the Qolsys mobile app, such as chimes, emergency panics, and a siren. An included back plate helps simplify installation.

Alarm.Com App

The IQ Remote PowerG, like the IQ 4 Hub, is monitored by Alarm.com and can be controlled remotely with your smartphone or tablet using the Alarm.com mobile app (Android, iOS, Windows, and Blackberry). You'll be able to monitor and control your smart home in real-time and from anywhere to arm or disarm your security system, lock or unlock your smart doors, watch live video from your cameras, turn off lights, and much more!

Z-Wave Compatibility When Paired With IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub

The IQ Remote PowerG can control select Z-Wave (U.S.) devices when paired with an IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub using Wi-Fi connections. The IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub converts Z-Wave signals into Wi-Fi signals to allow the Remote PowerG to receive alerts and send commands to controlled Z-Wave devices. Z-Wave devices must be within wireless operating range of the main IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub in order to be controlled by the IQ Remote PowerG.
