Designed as an exceptionally flexible recording solution, the Channel Vision Network Video Recorder (NVR) features a variety of modes to suit different surveillance requirements. Setup is also made easy by the NVR’s automatic networking feature. Just plug it in and the NVR will automatically find your IP cameras and add them to the network. The 4-channel NVR supports four IP cameras up to 5 megapixels each and works with HDMI as well as the ONVIF protocol. It additionally features an RTSP stream input to allow third-party cameras to integrate with its recording functions.

Three Recording Modes

The video recorder offers three different recording modes to suit any surveillance application. In Manual mode, you can manually turn recording on and off. In Scheduled mode, recording begins and ends based on your set time points. And with Alarm (Event-Triggered) mode, you can program the recorder to activate upon specific events such as motion detection, video loss, external alarm, and digital input from camera.

Watchdog Monitoring Ensures Reliable Surveillance

The Channel Vision Network Video Recorder features watchdog monitoring technology to make sure recording doesn’t stop without your knowledge. If an error occurs, for example, the NVR will automatically restart to maintain accurate recording.
