Stop leaks in larger plumbing systems as soon as they appear with the WaterCop Classic Interface for Large Valves with 12VDC Actuators. This smart actuator controller does not include a built-in actuator motor and is specifically designed to work with the WaterCop Lead Free Brass Ball Valve with 12VDC Industrial Actuator, Low Voltage (sold separately) and plumbing systems that utilize 1-1/2-in and 2-in pipes and valves. The WaterCop Classic Interface is the core of the WaterCop Classic Flood Prevention System, which protects your home from leaks and flooding originating from your indoor plumbing. When the Interface receives an alert from a connected leak sensor that water is detected, the Interface activates a connected actuator motor to close the connected valve to prevent further leakage and minimize possible water damage. Once the motor seals your main water line, it will not open until you press the “Open” button on the Interface. The Interface also allows you to manually close the connected shut-off valve by pressing the “Close” button on the Interface or when it receives a “Close” input from a connected Water Control Wall Switch. The Classic Interface receives signals via 418 MHz transmissions from compatible flood sensors up to 200 feet away or via ethernet cable from a wired Water Control Wall Switch (both sold separately). The Classic Interface can also be added into a smart security or automation system.
About the WaterCop System
The WaterCop System provides your home with round-the-clock indoor leak and flood detection and protection. The system consists of wired and wireless flood sensors, On/Off control switches, and a main control device consisting of an actuator motor and ball valve mounted on your main water line that all work together to detect leaks from your plumbing system or excessive water in selected areas and automatically shut off the water supply to help reduce and/or minimize the chances of major water damage. A WaterCop automatic water shut-off valve system is compatible with most home security and home automation systems via ethernet connection.
WaterCop System Components
A complete WaterCop System is comprised of three essential components:
Where to Place WaterCop Sensors:
WaterCop automatic water shut-off systems automatically turn off the water when a leak has been detected. This effectively reduces the chance of water damage due to common plumbing problems.
WaterCop Systems are activated by flood sensors, an optional remote switch, or many types of home security systems. WaterCop systems provide homeowners with added control benefits and peace of mind. Maintain a smarter home ... install a WaterCop today!
