Along with a variety of cable cutters, strippers, and other accessories, the kit features the EZ-RJ45 HD Crimp Tool, plus 500 compatible EZ connectors to make twisted pair and coax terminations a breeze.
Kit Components
- EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool: Crimp tool for larger cables. Perfect for Cat5e, CAT6, and Cat5e/Cat6 shielded cables. Compatible with EZ-RJ45 and EZ-RJ12/11 connectors, and standard modular plugs (except AMP). Built-in wire cutter and strippers.
- EZ-RJ45 Cat5/5e Connectors: EZ connectors simplify twisted pair terminations by allowing the wires to be inserted through the connector and routed out the front.
- Coax & Round Wire Cable Cutter: Cuts solid and stranded wire to 8 AWG, and multi-conductor and coaxial cable to 1/2-inch diameter. Curved, precision ground cutting blade prevents deformities in conductors or dielectric.
- Ceramic Kevlar Scissors: Cuts fiberglass aramid fibers in fiber optic cables. Uses Zirconia ceramic blades that never need sharpening.
- Cat5/6 Cable Jacket Stripper: Strips cable jackets off Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 twisted pair cables. No blade adjustments are required.
- PRO Punchdown Tool: Terminates circuitry in Cat5e/6 cross connects. Spring-loaded for easy wire seating and termination. Bayonet style (twist and lock) blade retention socket.
- Punchdown 110 Style Blade: 110 style blade for impact punchdown tools. Reversible -- one end seats and trims off the wire and the other end is for "no-cut" installations. Bayonet-style blade easily twist-locks securely in the punch end of the tool.
- 6-in-1 Screwdriver: Screwdriver handle with three double-ended reversible bits: #1 and #2 Phillips; #5 and #7 Slotted; and 1/4" and 5/16" Nut Drivers.
