Improve your home security and know immediately when a door or window has been opened or closed with the 2GIG Wireless Door/Window Contact Sensor, 345MHz. Designed with rounded corners and an included spacer to fit onto just about any door or window, this sensor operates on the 345 MHz frequency to communicate with the GC Touch, 2GIG Edge, and earlier 2GIG control panels. When the monitored door/window is opened, the sensor signals the control panel to trigger an alarm. It features On/Off switchable encryption and supports external Normally Open or Normally Closed inputs, which enhances security by allowing the sensor to work with different types of external contacts to ensure reliable detection whenever a door or window is opened.
The Door/Window Contact Sensor consists of two pieces (sensor and magnet), which easily installs using the included mounting tape. The sensor mounts on the door/window itself, and the magnet mounts on the frame. When the two are separated, the sensor signals the control panel.
