As part of 2GIG's E+ series of extended range sensors, it operates on the 900 MHz spectrum, giving it an operation range of up to 1.2 miles. It also features two-way encrypted communication for added security, includes installer-adjustable settings for pet immunity on/off, and has a battery life of up to 3 years for long-lasting use.
