    Center-to-center (YRD256) 4" minimum, 1-3/8" to 2-1/4" door thickness

    Compatible models: YRD216, YRD226, YRD256

    Interconnected Locksets

    Door thickness 1-3/8" to 1-3/4"
    Center-to-center spacing 4" or 5.5"

    Compatible models: YRC216, YRC226, YRC246

    Levers

    Requirement Spec
    Door thickness 1-3/8" to 1-3/4"
    Minimum cross bore 2-1/8"

    Compatible models: YRL210, YRL220

    How to Check Your Door

    • Measure the door thickness at the location where the lock will be installed.
    • Measure the existing cross-bore hole diameter (if retrofitting) to confirm it meets the 2-1/8" minimum where required.
    • For deadbolt and interconnected combo installs, measure the center-to-center distance between the deadbolt and lever/knob bore holes — most Yale products support 4" standard, with 5.5" also available on select interconnected models.
    • If your door doesn't meet these specs, consult a locksmith or door professional before ordering — some products offer adjustable backset/spacing options.
