    Wiring diagram for the X10 PRO XPSS Momentary Slave (Companion) Switch — used to add extra switch locations in a 3-way lighting control setup without needing an additional dimmer/switch module at each location.

    Overview

    The XPSS Momentary Slave Switch is a Decora-style paddle switch designed to be wired in as a "3-way traveler" companion to a primary X10 PRO switch/dimmer, controlling a single load from multiple locations. No separate LED or slave-switch module is required at the companion location — the XPSS switch itself serves as the traveler-connected slave.

    Wiring layout: the primary switch's CONTROL terminal connects via top and bottom traveler wires to the companion switch(es)' SWITCH and LIVE terminals. The LOAD terminal connects to the 125VAC/20A load and neutral; LINE connects to 125VAC line power. Additional 3-way switches can be inserted between the traveler wires as needed.

    Key Terminal Reference

    • Primary switch terminals: CONTROL, LOAD, NEUTRAL, LINE
    • Companion (XPSS) switch terminals: SWITCH, LIVE
    • Load: 125 VAC, 20 Amp maximum
    • Traveler wires run between the primary switch's CONTROL terminal and each companion switch's SWITCH/LIVE terminals (top and bottom traveler runs)
    • Additional 3-way switches can be added in-line between the traveler wires for more control locations
