Wiring diagram for the United Security Products AD-2001 Power Supervisory Hookup, showing PP-1, AC-2, PRS, and PLS connections.
Wiring diagram and reference guide for the United Security Products AD-2001 Power Supervisory Hookup, showing how the PP-1 power pack, AC-2 adapters, PRS (Power Restored Sensor), and PLS (Power Loss Sensor) modules connect to the AD-2001 panel.
This is a wiring/hookup diagram for the AD-2001 Power Supervisory system from United Security Products, illustrating how the power supervisory components — a PP-1 power pack, two AC-2 plug-in transformers, a Model PRS (Power Restored Sensor) module, and a Model PLS (Power Loss Sensor) module — connect to the terminal block on the rear of the AD-2001 panel.
Before wiring, consult the AD-2001 manual for detailed programming information. Configure the channels as follows:
The AD-2001 rear-panel terminal block (labeled "CHANNELS") provides the following terminals: +12V, 1, C, 2, C, −, AUX OUT. A secondary terminal block provides IN / LINE SEIZE / OUT connections.
| From | To | Wire Color(s) |
|---|---|---|
| PP-1 Power Pack | AD-2001 panel | Direct plug connection (coiled cord) |
| AC-2 (upper) | Terminal block (+12V / −) | Black, Black w/ White Stripe |
| Terminal block | PRS module (coil side) | Red, Blue |
| PRS module | Terminal block channels | Yellow (N.C.), Black (C) |
| AC-2 (lower) | PLS module | Power feed |
| PLS module | Terminal block channels | Yellow (N.C.), Black (C) |
