UltraFlex VEGA Chain Actuator — Specifications & Part Numbers

Specification sheet for the UltraFlex Control Systems (UCS) VEGA chain actuator — an electric chain actuator for vent/window automation with a compact die-cast aluminum casing (45 x 32 mm) and double stainless steel link chain. Available in AC, DC, RF (radio remote), and Synchro (multi-actuator) versions.

Main Features

• High performance in small die-cast aluminum casing (45 x 32 mm), powder painted
• Chain in double stainless steel links, chain exit in central position
• Quick and easy installation — no manual closing-position regulation required; stop in closing position is regulated by an electronic limit switch control
• Electronic stop in intermediate positions in case of overload
• RF version: integrated radio receiver, supplied with radio remote control; the transmitter controls all actuators within its field of action simultaneously (actuators/remotes with different radio codes available on request)
• SYNCHRO versions: integrated speed synchronization control board for installing more than one actuator on the same vent, avoiding an external control panel — max 4 Synchro Vega DC
• F-SIGNAL versions: opening/closing feedback signal (free potential, maintained contact), activated by current limit
• Suitable for combined installation with the additional locking device E-LOCK or PLUSULTRA

Installation Remarks

• Installation without brackets is possible for windows with pivoting hinges only if the vent height is at least 900 mm
• For vents with four-bar hinges, contact the Technical Department
• If installed on PVC windows, the profile must be reinforced
• In case of Building Management System control, avoid repetitive commands in the same direction

Specification Summary

When "free potential open/close feedback" is required, specify suffix "F-SIGNAL".
