Overview

The Global ReSet Series has a unique latching, resettable push button that simulates break-glass activation with no broken glass involved. It's designed for locations where glass elements can't be used (food processing plants, common areas) and for high-false-activation environments like schools, shopping centers, and public buildings, since it resets simply with a key rather than requiring glass replacement.

How It Works

The GLR uses an ADA-compliant snap-action mechanism that provides the feel of real action on operation, simulating break-glass activation without broken glass. It's a single-action, non-coded initiating station — the signal is activated by pushing the clear operating plate (marked with arrows and a hand symbol). Once activated, a yellow-and-black warning flag drops into view. To reset, a special key is inserted into a hole at the bottom and rotated.
