STI-34xxx Series — Wireless Transmitters and Sensors Overview

The STI Wireless Transmitters and Sensors line (STI-34xxx series) lets you wirelessly monitor doors, gates, mailboxes, driveways, and other points around a home or building, alerting through a companion STI receiver.

Overview

STI transmitters and sensors detect and report events like an open/closed garage door, mail delivery, a car entering the driveway, an opened exit door, a removed fire extinguisher, a fence gate, or a medicine cabinet being accessed. A paired STI receiver — monitoring up to 4 or 8 devices from a single, convenient location — chimes or speaks a custom voice message when a monitored transmitter is triggered.

How It Works

Wireless Driveway Monitor — Solar or Battery Powered (STI-34101 / STI-34151)

Detects a vehicle entering or leaving a driveway. Movement of any large metallic (iron or steel) object near the sensor transmits a signal to the receiver.

Wireless Mail Alert® (STI-34201)

Alerts when the mailbox door opens, eliminating repeat trips to check an empty mailbox.

Wireless Garage Sentry® Alert (STI-34301)

Alerts when the garage door opens, and reports an open or closed status.

Wireless Universal Alert / Wireless Door Entry Alert® (STI-34401 / STI-34501)

Signals when a monitored site is tripped — usable on a medicine cabinet, fence gate, window, shed, etc.

Wireless Doorbell Button Alert (STI-34601)

Water/weather-resistant button that sends a signal when pressed. Up to 500 ft. line-of-sight range.

Wireless Motion Detector Alert — Indoor or Outdoor (STI-34701 / STI-34752)

Sends a signal when motion is detected. To conserve battery, the sensor will not re-trigger for three minutes after tripping.

• Includes a magnetic contact with 18" lead for irregular installations.
• Requires an STI 4-Channel Receiver (STI-34104), 4-Channel Voice Receiver (STI-V34104), or 8-Channel Receiver (STI-34108) — the receiver chimes/flashes when a monitored site is tripped.
• Up to 1,000 ft. line-of-sight range between transmitter and receiver (STI-34601 offers 500 ft.).
• Battery included.
