Overview

This instruction manual covers the Speco Technologies Intensifier K Series analog security cameras: HTINT70K (bullet camera), HTINT60K (turret camera), and HTINT59K (dome camera). All three share the same 1000TVL 1/3" 1.3MP Sony sensor, True WDR, on-screen menu (OSD), and coaxial control communication, differing primarily in housing style and mounting.

Precautions

• Do not install the camera in extreme temperature conditions — operate only between -10°C and +50°C, with adequate ventilation in high heat.
• Do not install under unstable/flickering lighting — severe lighting changes can cause the camera to malfunction.
• Do not touch the front lens — avoid leaving fingerprints on the lens cover.
• Never point the camera directly at strong light sources — can cause malfunction.
• Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock — housing damage can compromise weatherproof ratings.
• Do not expose the camera to radioactivity — this will cause CCD failure.
• Smear or blooming may occur if the camera is exposed to spotlights or strongly reflective objects.
• Verify the power supply matches the camera's specifications before connecting.

Safety Instructions

• No user-serviceable parts inside — do not disassemble beyond initial adjustments.
• Use a UL-approved regulated 24VAC or 12VDC power supply.
• Confirm the installation surface can support the camera's weight.
• Do not use strong or abrasive detergents when cleaning the camera.
• Do not install near cooling or heating devices.
• In the USA and Canada, use Class 2 power supply only.
• Do not expose the appliance to rain, moisture, dripping, or splashing; do not place liquid-filled objects (vases, etc.) on it.

Package Contents

Each package includes the camera unit and accompanying mounting hardware/screws appropriate to its housing style (HTINT70K bullet, HTINT60K turret, or HTINT59K dome).

Camera Installation

Power Wiring

• 12 Volts DC: Red wire = +, Black wire = – (typical polarity marking on DC input)
• 24 Volts AC: No polarity — either lead may connect to either AC terminal
• Connect the BNC video cable to the BNC jack for video output.

Compatibility / Mounting Accessories

• HTINT70K (Bullet): Compatible with CVCJBB, INTJBS, INTCM junction boxes/mounts.
• HTINT60K (Turret): Compatible with CVCJBD junction box and 60PLATE adaptor plate with rubber gasket.
• HTINT59K (Dome): Compatible with CVCJBD junction box and 59PLATE adaptor plate with rubber gasket.

Note: The installation instructions in this manual should not be altered unless you are qualified to do so.

HTINT70K (Bullet) Assembly

Mount the 3-axis bracket to the wall using the included TS T1 4x25 tapping screws (4EA), then attach the camera body to the bracket using the M5x10 hexagon socket screws (4EA).

HTINT60K (Turret) Assembly

Mount the ball dome base to the surface using TS T1 4x25 tapping screws (3EA), then attach the ball dome and ball dome body.

HTINT59K (Dome) Assembly

Mount the vandal dome base using TS T1 3.5x20 tapping screws (3EA), then attach the vandal dome body and the SPECO outer cover.

Lens Adjustment

• HTINT70K: Open the lens cap, adjust focus, then lock the screw and adjust zoom.
• HTINT60K: Adjust zoom, lock the screw, then adjust focus.
• HTINT59K: Open the cap, then adjust focus and zoom.

Specifications

On-Screen Menu (OSD) — Setup Overview

Access the OSD via coaxial control (UTC) from a compatible DVR, or the camera's control interface. The main menu structure:

1. LENS — DC or Manual mode (Indoor/Outdoor/Deblur, or Normal/Deblur)
2. EXPOSURE — Brightness (0–20), Shutter (Auto/Manual/Flicker), Intensify (Off/x2–x64), AGC (0–20)
3. WHITE BAL — ATW / AWB / AWC→SET / Manual (Kelvin, R-Gain, B-Gain)
4. BACKLIGHT — Off / HLC (Level, Mode) / BLC (position/size) / WDR (Weight: Low/Middle/High)
5. DNR (Speco DNR) — Off / Low / Middle / High noise reduction
6. DAY&NIGHT — Auto (Smart IR, AGC Threshold/Margin, Delay) / Color / B/W / Extern
7. IMAGE — Sharpness (0–10), Gamma (0.45–0.65), Pedestal (0–20), Color Gain (0–20), Mirror/Flip
8. SYSTEM — Communication (Cam ID 0–255, Baudrate 2400–115200), View Angle, CVBS (NTSC/PAL), Language, Reset
9. SPECIAL — D-Zoom (1.0x–8.0x), D-WDR, Defog (Auto/Manual, Level), Shading, Privacy Masking (up to 16 zones), Intelligent motion tracking & alarm (anti-shift, anti-block), Quick Zoom (moving/zoom-in/standby timers)

Preset modes available: Indoor, Outdoor, Low Light, Hall Way, Lobby, Elevator.
