Somfy Telis 1 RTS / Telis 4 RTS — Programming Instructions

Quick programming instructions for the Somfy Telis 1 RTS and Telis 4 RTS hand-held remote controls (Pure/Silver/Patio/Lounge versions) — covers pairing the remote to a receiver or motor, adding/deleting additional transmitters, basic operation, and setting the intermediate ("my") favorite position.

1. Programming the First Transmitter

1.1. Remote (External) Receiver

1. Power the receiver.
2. Press and hold "prog" on the receiver for 2 seconds → the receiver's LED lights ON.
3. Briefly press "prog" on the Telis* → the LED blinks, confirming pairing.

*Telis 4 RTS: select the channel first, then press prog.

1.2. Built-in Receiver

1. Power the unit → you should see a short up & down movement of the motor. (No motion? Refer to the instructions of the corresponding receiver.)
2. Press the up (+) and down (−) buttons simultaneously* → short up & down movement.
3. Briefly press "prog" → short up & down movement confirms pairing.

2. Adding or Deleting a Control (Using an Already-Programmed Remote)

1. Press and hold "prog" on control #1 (already paired) for 2 seconds → LED lights ON, or short up & down movement.
2. Briefly press "prog" on control #2* → LED blinks, or short up & down movement, confirming the new control has been added or removed.

*Telis 4 RTS: select the channel first.

3. Using the Hand-Held Transmitter

• Up (+) button — raises the motorized covering.
• Down (−) button — lowers the motorized covering.
• Stop / "my" button — stops movement, or recalls the intermediate favorite position.

4. Intermediate Position ("my")

Applicable to Altus RTS / Orea RTS / Oximo RTS motors.

4.1. Setting or Changing the Position

Stop the covering at the desired position, then press and hold "my" for 5 seconds.

4.2. Using the Position

Briefly press "my" to move to the saved favorite position.

4.3. Deleting the Position

Press and hold "my" for 5 seconds to clear the saved position.
