Quick Programming Guide for Somfy Maestria™ 50 RTS motors — setting travel limits, direction, and obstacle detection.
Quick Programming Guide for Somfy Maestria™ 50 RTS motors — covers setting travel limits, checking rotation direction, and adjusting obstacle detection sensitivity via a hand-held RTS transmitter.
Important: While programming, screens should not sit idle for more than 2 minutes or the motor will exit programming mode — if that happens, start over from Step 1.
On the transmitter, press and hold both UP and DOWN simultaneously until the screen jogs (short jog). This is the same procedure used with Altus motors.
Note: If the hand-held transmitter's direction is not properly programmed, an Eolis/Soliris RTS sensor will not function as intended — this can cause damage to the screen or injury.
Check the direction of rotation by pressing UP or DOWN. If the direction is wrong, press and hold the MY button until the screen jogs to reverse it.
This function lets you deactivate obstacle detection during the downward movement, or increase sensitivity above the default level. All button presses must be completed within 2 seconds of the previous press, or you must repeat Step 1 to re-enter setting mode.
The registered level of obstacle detection is reached again the next time you enter Step 1.
