    Overview

    The smanos RE2300 is a compact, dainty remote control designed to attach to a key ring or fit in a pocket or purse. It lets you arm, disarm, or set your smanos security system to Stay mode with a single button press, and includes a dedicated SOS panic button for emergencies.

    Controls & Layout

    • Arm button with Arm Indicator LED
    • Disarm button with Disarm Indicator LED
    • Stay button (home mode)
    • SOS panic button
    • Guide point for the blind (tactile marker)
    • Metal ring for key-chain attachment

    LED Indication

    • LED flashes once (Arm indicator): System is armed, or in home/stay mode
    • LED flashes once (Disarm indicator): System is disarmed
    • Both LEDs flash once: SOS/panic triggered

    Connecting the Remote to Your Panel

    1. Put the control panel into its "connecting" state (refer to your control panel's user manual for how to enter pairing/learn mode).
    2. Press any key on the remote control. The control panel will beep once, confirming a successful connection.

    Note: If the control panel beeps twice during this process, it means the remote control was already connected previously.

    Operating Instructions

    Arm Press the Arm button Panel beeps once; whole system is armed
    Disarm Press the Disarm button Panel beeps twice; system disarmed except 24-hour zone sensors
    Stay Press the Stay button Home-mode sensors disarm; other sensors stay armed, allowing free movement in the home zone
    SOS Press the SOS button System enters alarm state immediately
    Mute Arm Hold Stay for 1 sec until it flashes once, then press Arm within 3 sec System arms silently (no beep)
    Mute Disarm Hold Stay for 1 sec until it flashes once, then press Disarm within 3 sec System disarms silently (no beep)
