Instruction manual for the Skylink R3-T2 2-Button Keychain Remote Control, compatible with Skylink R3 series receivers (R3G, R3R).

    Overview

The R3-T2 keychain remote allows you to operate up to 2 different Skylink R3 series receivers. The package includes the keychain remote with a 3V lithium (CR2032) battery pre-installed.

    Programming

To operate your receiver, the remote must be "learned" to it. Follow the instructions for your specific receiver model.

For R3G Receiver — Add Remote to Auto-Assigned Location

    1. Press [ADD] — the display shows [0 0 0], the default memory location.
    2. Press [ADD] again to select the memory location.
    3. Press the button on the remote you'd like to use to operate the receiver.
    4. The receiver emits 3 beeps once the remote is programmed.

The display then shows the next available memory location. Press [DISP] twice to exit, or add another remote by pressing its button.

For R3R Receiver — Learn Remote Control

    1. Press and hold the learn button — the red LED flashes.
    2. Activate the remote control by pressing the button you'd like to use to operate the receiver. The red LED on the R3R stops flashing and remains on once the remote is programmed.

    Operation

    • Press and hold the plastic case where marked "PRESS" to activate the built-in flashlight.
    • Press the learned door button to activate the programmed receiver.

    Battery Replacement

One 3-volt lithium (CR2032) battery is included.

    1. Open the case with a coin.
    2. Slide the old battery away from the battery holder.
    3. Slide in the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
    4. Firmly close the case.
