    Package Contents

    • Motion Sensor unit
    • Mounting accessories

Note: The AA alkaline battery for the sensor is not included and must be purchased separately.

Section 1 — Inserting the Battery

    1. Use a coin to open the Motion Sensor cover.
    2. Insert an AA Alkaline battery.

Section 2 — Programming with the M-Series Main Console

You can program up to 4 sensors total in one zone. If you try to program a fifth sensor into the same zone, the first sensor programmed will automatically be removed.

    1. Press the learn button on the back of the M-Series Main Console for 3 seconds, until the Zone 1 light is flashing.
    2. Zone 1 is selected by default. Press the learn button on the Main Console again to step through and select the zone you want to program the sensor into.
    3. Open the Motion Sensor cover with a coin and press the learn button on the sensor.
    4. Once the sensor is programmed, the Main Console will beep once and the corresponding zone LED will turn off.

Section 3 — Programming with the SkylinkNet Internet Hub

Programming the sensor with the SkylinkNet Internet Hub must be done from the SkylinkNet mobile app:

    1. Go to "More" and tap on "System Settings".
    2. Tap on "Setup Wizard".
    3. Tap on "Add Device".
    4. Tap on "Sensors".
    5. Tap on "Motion Sensor".
    6. Name your sensor and its location, then tap "Continue".
    7. Tap on "Learn Now" and follow the in-app video to activate the sensor.

    Section 4 — Testing with the M-Series Alert/Alarm System

    1. Slide the switch at the back of the Main Console to Alert Mode.
    2. Move in front of the motion sensor to trigger it — the LED will flash when motion is detected.
    3. The Main Console will start beeping and flashing the Zone LED.
    4. The motion sensor will stop beeping/flashing the LED if no motion is detected for 15 seconds.

Section 5 — Testing with the SkylinkNet Alarm System

    1. Activate the sensor by moving in front of it — the LED will flash when motion is detected, and the blue icon in the app will turn red indicating motion.
    2. Don't move in front of the sensor for 15 seconds.
    3. The red icon will turn back to blue, indicating no motion is detected.

Section 6 — Installing the Motion Sensor

Place the sensor in an appropriate location. It can be mounted with double-sided tape or screws in a corner, on a straight wall, on a ceiling, or set to stand freely by itself.

Section 7 — Battery Indication / Sensor Failure

On the M-Series Alert/Alarm System, the corresponding zone LED on the Main Console will flash if a sensor failure occurs or the battery is low.

If a sensor failure occurs, try the following:

    1. Check if the sensor is located where it should be.
    2. Check for any physical damage to the sensor.
    3. Move the Main Console closer to the sensor — if the red LED stops flashing, the Main Console or sensor needs to be relocated (out of range).
    4. Replace the sensor's battery if the Main Console does not respond when the sensor is activated within short range.

    Troubleshooting (M-Series Alert/Alarm System)

    Problem Solution
The M-Series Main Console does not respond to the sensor You must program the sensor to the control panel before they can work together.
Can I erase just one sensor from a zone in the M-Series Main Console? You must erase all sensors in that zone, then reprogram the sensor(s) you want to keep.
I have multiple sensors in a zone and the zone LED keeps flashing, indicating a sensor failure. How do I know which sensor is having the problem? You need to test each sensor individually.
