Sensative Strips Drip — Quick Start Guide

Quick start / installation guide for the Sensative Strips Drip — a Z-Wave leak/moisture detection strip that mounts on a gateway-supplied mounting plate to detect leaking water at floor level.

Setup Steps

1. Put your Z-Wave gateway into "add device" mode.
2. Remove the magnet from the sensor (you'll see one short LED blink).
3. Hold the device in your hand and watch for a status change on your gateway within 15 seconds. One long LED blink means the pairing was successful.
4. Remove the protective tape from the Strips Drip adhesive.
5. Mount the Strips Drip on the marked "Strips side" of the mounting plate.
6. Remove the protective tape from the mounting plate and place it firmly on the surface where you want to detect leaks.
7. Position the Strips Drip so the moisture detection pads will soak up any leaking water.
