    Comparison spec sheet for the SECO-LARM Ground Loop Isolators VG-1C12BQ (newer model) and VG-1C12AQ, both BNC-to-BNC isolators used to eliminate ground loop hum/interference in analog CCTV video runs.

    Overview

    Ground loop isolators break the ground path between a camera and its DVR/monitor to eliminate the electrical noise ("hum bars" or rolling interference) that can appear in analog video when the camera and recording equipment are grounded at different points. Both models pass video signal through gold-plated BNC connectors while isolating the ground reference.
