    Overview

    The SL-1311-MA series features four next-generation 1-watt LEDs in a compact rectangular housing. The related SL-1302-MA series packs 52 high-intensity LEDs into a low-profile circular disk. Both offer 19 selectable flash patterns, potted weather (IP66) and vibration-resistant circuitry, multi-unit synchronization (sync or alternate, up to 15 units), and flexible 10–30 VDC operating voltage — ideal for security and informational applications.

    Wiring the Strobe

    1. Black wire: Connect to power supply negative (-) terminal or ground.
    2. Red wire: Connect to power supply positive (+) terminal, 10–30 VDC. It is recommended to fuse each unit at 1A.
    3. Yellow wire:
      • Programming flash patterns: connect an optional SPST momentary switch (e.g. ENFORCER SS-032Q) to program flash patterns.
      • Synchronizing multiple units: connect the yellow wires of multiple units together (all units must be set to the same flash pattern) — up to 15 strobes.
    4. White wire (optional): Connect to power supply only on strobes that should flash in alternation with the others (e.g. Strobe A ON while Strobe B is OFF).

    Mounting the Strobe

    1. Choose a mounting surface and drill a hole large enough for the strobe wires to pass through.
    2. SL-1311-MA: feed wires through the hole in the rubber gasket and mounting surface. SL-1302-MA: feed wires through the hole and place the gasket around the LED.
    3. Place the mounting flange over the LED module, ensuring it is seated properly on the gasket for weather resistance.
    4. Align holes in gasket and flange, then secure with the included self-tapping screws.

    Setting Flash Patterns

    LEDs are grouped into two sets (SL-1311-MA: left pair = Set 1, right pair = Set 2; SL-1302-MA: outer rings = Set 1, inner rings = Set 2). To change patterns, momentarily connect the yellow wire to +VDC once to advance to the next pattern, or three times rapidly to reset to Pattern 1. After changing, the pattern runs once, pauses, then repeats. Settings are retained in memory when power is disconnected.
