Overview

The SD-C131-SQ is a mechanical door closer for the Enforcer line. This template is meant to be printed at actual scale and taped to the door and frame so installers can mark and drill mounting holes accurately, choosing the correct hole set based on door weight and the correct handing (left vs. right) for the installation.

Mounting Hole Selection

Three sets of mounting holes (A, B, C) are provided to accommodate different door sizes and weights:

Generally, smaller/lighter doors are mounted using "A" or "B", while larger/heavier doors are mounted using "B" or "C".

Key Dimensions

• Top bracket (jamb-mounted): 2 holes spaced 1-3/4" (44mm) apart
• Main closer body offset: 7-9/16" (192mm) from door edge
• Body hole spacing: 3-3/16" (81.5mm) and 6-9/16" (166mm) along the closer body
• Top-of-door clearance: 1/8" (3mm)
• Door opening angle: 120°

Speed Adjustments

The closer body has separate adjustment screws for:

• L. Latch speed adjustment — controls the final closing speed of the door
• S. Sweep speed adjustment — controls the door's swing speed through the main arc

Warranty

This SECO-LARM product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship while used in normal service for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale to the original consumer customer.
