    Overview

    This is a printable installation template used when mortising the door jamb for the SD-991A-D1Q mini electric door strike. It shows the correct centerline alignment against the lock latch's front face and the two available strike faceplate options.

    Cut Instructions

    • Cut 5/8" (16mm) or 15/32" (12mm) of depth from the jamb edge, depending on the strike faceplate used.
    • Align the template to the marked latch line and the front face of the lock latch.

    Compatible Strike Faceplates

    • SD-991RA-61Q/A or B — for low-cut strike plates.
    • SD-991SS-61Q/S — for no-cut strike plates.

    Do not photocopy this template — photocopiers may alter the printed dimensions, causing an incorrect cut. Print or use the original PDF at 100% scale.
