Overview

These tough, stainless-steel plates securely and attractively finish access-control projects. The included N.C. (turn-to-open), pre-wired keylock switch connects to electromagnetic door locks, gate locks, or other access devices to temporarily or permanently allow entry into or exit from a protected premises by cutting power.

Switch Behavior

• Momentary switch (SD-72051-V0 / SD-71051-V0): N.C. turn-to-open. Includes shunt ON, momentary OFF spring-loaded keylock switch. The switch is maintained ON, and springs back from OFF. Key is removable from the ON position only.
• Shunt switch (SD-72002-V0 / SD-71002-V0): N.C. turn-to-open. Includes maintained ON/OFF keylock switch. The switch can be left ON or OFF. Key is removable from either the ON or OFF position.

Note: All four models ship keyed to number 1300 (the only number normally in stock). For large-volume orders it is possible to order a different key number (1301-1310) — contact SECO-LARM for details.

Typical Installation

A typical setup pairs an SK-1011-SDQ digital keypad and an SD-series Request-to-Exit plate, both feeding a power supply that powers an E-941SA-1200 electromagnetic lock — allowing either the keypad or the key switch to release the door.
