    Sample Installation

The recommended distance between the strike body and the lock body is 3/16" (5mm). Rotate the latch to adjust between in-swing and out-swing configuration.

    1. Determine the best mounting location for the strike body and lock body.
    2. Place the included template on the closed gate/door and frame. Drill four 1/8" (3mm) holes for the lock body, four 1/8" (3mm) holes for the strike body, a 1-1/4" (32mm) hole for the cylinder lock, and a wire-routing hole. (Note: template/lock orientation varies with door handedness; there's also a second, optional wire hole in the back of the lock body.)
    3. Install the key plate to the gate/door or frame with four M3 self-tapping screws.
    4. Assemble the cylinder lock from the opposite side of the door so its flat pin inserts into the lock body (cut the flat pin and long screws to the appropriate length first).
    5. Secure the cylinder lock with the two long screws.
    6. Remove the lock body cover (unscrew the two screws on the latch side).
    7. Mount the lock body with four M5 self-tapping screws.
    8. Remove the strike body cover, mount the strike body with four M5 self-tapping screws, and reattach its cover. (Note: the strike's faceplate has three screw holes for added stability.)
    9. Connect the non-polarized wires to an access control system.
    10. Test the lock, then reattach the lock body's cover.

Note: copy keys as necessary and save one as the master key — replacement keys are not available.

    Adjusting Between In-Swing and Out-Swing

    1. Remove the lock body cover by removing the two small screws on the latch side.
    2. Press the pin until the latch protrudes from the lock body, rotate it into the correct position, then release pressure so the latch retracts into place.

    Troubleshooting

    Issue Check
Does not lock Lock is engaging the strike body; mechanism moves freely; lubricate moving parts with graphite lubricant
Does not unlock Lock is engaging the strike body; correct input voltage present; power supply has sufficient current
