SECO-LARM NR-P101FQ — PoE Repeater (Manual)

Full manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER NR-P101FQ PoE Repeater — a passive, plug-and-play device that extends power and data an additional 394ft (120m) beyond the standard 328ft (100m) PoE limit, for a maximum range of up to 1,181ft (360m) when using two repeaters in series. Compliant with standard PoE IEEE 802.3af.

LED Function

Installation

Extending PoE using a single repeater: IP Camera (or other PoE device) → Cat5e/6 cable (up to 394ft/120m) → PoE Repeater → Cat5e/6 cable (up to 394ft/120m) → PoE Switch.

Extending PoE to maximum distance (two repeaters): IP Camera → Cat5e/6 cable (394ft/120m) → PoE Repeater → Cat5e/6 cable (394ft/120m) → PoE Repeater → Cat5e/6 cable (394ft/120m) → PoE Switch.

Troubleshooting

If the IP device doesn't function correctly:

• Ensure the IP camera/PoE device is functioning by plugging it directly into the PoE switch, computer, etc.
• Double-check that the cables were connected properly.
• Run a continuity test on all wires in the cable.
• Equipment at both ends must be at the same link speed (10BASE-T with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T with 100BASE-T).
• Replace with a higher-grade cable for better performance.
• Ensure cable lengths are within the allowable range and reduce cable length as needed for remote PoE device power consumption.
• With 1000BASE-T, power consumption is greater, so no more than 2 PoE repeaters may be used (total power consumption of PoE equipment must be under 7W).

The warranty is void if damage results from misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, or faulty installation.
