Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER NJ-A301U-T6AQ 30W PoE Injector, which converts 100~240 VAC to low-voltage DC PoE power for IP cameras, access control devices, and other network accessories.

Overview

The ENFORCER 30W PoE Injector converts AC mains power to low-voltage DC and supplies power to IP cameras, IP access control, and other PoE devices over Cat5e or Cat6 cables. It lets you power IEEE 802.3af/at compliant network accessories without a separate external power supply — a compact, reliable, affordable addition to network infrastructure.

Installation Steps

1. Use a CAT5e/6 UTP cable to connect the source device to the PoE Injector's DATA IN port.
2. Connect the AC power cable to the PoE Injector and a power source.
3. Connect the PoE OUT port to the PoE device using a CAT5e/6 UTP cable.

Sample application: a data source connects into the injector's DATA IN port, AC mains power is supplied to the injector, and the PoE OUT port feeds power+data over Cat5e/6 to a downstream PoE camera, switch, or NVR-connected device.

Troubleshooting — PoE Device Doesn't Function Properly

• Ensure that all devices are turned on.
• Ensure the PoE device functions by plugging it directly into a PoE switch, computer, etc.
• Double-check that the cables were connected properly and run a continuity test on all wires.
• Equipment at both ends must be at the same link speed (10BaseT with 10BaseT, 100BaseT with 100BaseT, etc.).
• Replace with a higher-grade cable for better performance.
• Ensure cable lengths are within the allowable range and consistent with the remote PoE device's power consumption; reduce cable length as needed.
• Check that power consumption is within specifications.

Warranty

SECO-LARM warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship in normal service for one (1) year from date of sale to the original customer. Obligation is limited to repair or replacement, transportation prepaid to SECO-LARM. Warranty is void for damage from acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or faulty installation.
