    Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER HL-951T1-SWQ Wired Long-Range RF Transmitter (917MHz). This wired transmitter lets you turn virtually any device into a wireless-controlled device — attach it to an external switch, contact, or sensor and pair it with any ENFORCER HL-series receiver of the same frequency.

    Installation — External Switch Connection

    To control a device wirelessly, install an ENFORCER HL-series RF receiver on the device to be controlled, and use the HL-951T1-SWQ transmitter to control it remotely. The transmitter can be used with its built-in button, or wired to an external N.O. switch (button, contact, or sensor) in one of three configurations:

    • Built-in button only: Use the transmitter directly with its battery, or connect an external regulated power adapter. If using external power, the internal battery may be removed or kept as backup.
    • External switch with sole control: Requires an external regulated power adapter. Remove the battery, connect the blue wires together, then wire the N.O. switch inline between the power adapter and the transmitter. The battery must be removed to disable the built-in button.
    • External switch AND built-in button both active: Connect the external N.O. switch to the blue wires, and connect the regulated power adapter (+) to the red wire and (–) to the black wire. Do not remove the battery if you want the transmitter button to also work.

    Installation Notes

    • Any wires not in use must be insulated to avoid a short circuit.
    • Do not let the red wire touch any other wire — doing so may burn out the transmitter.
    • If using an external power adapter, the factory-installed CR-2032 battery serves as backup power (battery must be removed for external inline power-on switch configuration).

    Power Connection

    Power the HL-951T1-SWQ with the factory-preinstalled 3VDC lithium CR-2032 battery, or an external 4.5~13VDC regulated adapter (not included). When using an external adapter, connect the red wire to positive and black wire to negative — correct polarity is critical.

    • WARNING: Connecting more than 13VDC or reversing polarity will burn out the unit and void the warranty.
    • Use only "regulated" adapters to power the wired transmitter.
    • The LED indicator flashes slowly on button press to indicate low battery.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Solution
    Range is diminished Check the battery if not using an external power source; change to a fresh battery if needed. Check for interference or obstructions.
