  • Seco-Larm ENFORCER SK-910RAQ Series — Miniature RF Receivers Installation Instructions

    September 08, 2026 3 min read

Installation instructions for the Seco-Larm ENFORCER SK-910RAQ series miniature RF receivers, up to 500 ft range with CODEBUMP™ code-hopping.

    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation manual for the Seco-Larm ENFORCER SK-910RAQ series — miniature RF receivers with up to 500 ft. range, code learning, and CODEBUMP™ code-hopping support.

    Overview

These mini RF receivers are compatible with both code-hopping and fixed-code transmitters. They can be used for applications like allowing the same transmitter to arm/disarm a vehicle alarm and open/close a garage door opener. Receivers come in one- or two-channel versions; each channel can learn the codes of up to 15 different transmitter buttons on a first-in, first-out basis.

    Models Available

    Model Description
    SK-910RAQ 1-channel mini-receiver, 3A Form "C" relay, 315MHz
    SK-910RAVQ 1-channel mini-receiver, 5A transistor ground output, 315MHz
    SK-910RAV2Q 2-channel mini-receiver, 3A transistor ground outputs, 315MHz
    SK-910RA-4Q 1-channel mini-receiver, 3A Form "C" relay, 433.92MHz
    SK-910RAV-4Q 1-channel mini-receiver, 5A transistor ground output, 433.92MHz
    SK-910RAV2-4Q 2-channel mini-receiver, 3A transistor ground outputs, 433.92MHz

All models work on 11-24VAC/DC except the low-voltage versions (3-13.8VDC).

    Installation Notes

    • Mount out of sight, away from metal (which blocks RF signal) and away from weather/moisture.
    • For best range, pull the antenna wire as straight and high as possible. If receiving interference from local RF activity (e.g. airport or military base), the antenna wire can be folded — do NOT cut it.

Learning a New Button Code (Channel 1)

    1. Press the mode switch (top of receiver case) for 3 seconds. The green LED starts flashing quickly.
    2. While flashing, press a button on a compatible transmitter — the green LED flashes once then turns off to confirm the button was learned.
    3. Repeat to learn more buttons into channel 1. (The LED flashes for a max of 15 seconds; if no button is pressed in that window, code-learning mode exits.)

Channel 2 (SK-910RAV2Q only): same procedure, using mode switch #2 (black switch); the red LED shows status.

    Notes on Code Learning

    • A button's code can only be learned once — re-learning the same button causes the LED to turn steady on (1 sec) to indicate it's already stored.
    • Each channel holds a maximum of 15 codes; learning a 16th deletes the earliest (first-in, first-out).
    • To clear all codes: press the mode switch for 3 seconds, then when the LED starts flashing, press again for 3 seconds — the LED flashes twice to confirm deletion.

    Programming Output Modes

    Mode Behavior
4-second momentary (default) Output turns on for 4 seconds then off after one button press.
1-second momentary Output turns on for 1 second then off.
Toggle Output turns on with one press, off with the next.
Validity Relay stays on for as long as the transmitter button is held.

To program outputs, open the case and cut jumpers LP1–LP4 as needed per the internal jumper table (printed inside the unit). LP3 must be cut to use an external antenna; LP4 is cut for 16–24VAC/DC power input (SK-910RAQ only).

Mode Switch Operation (one per channel)

    • Learn mode: press and hold 3 seconds — LED flashes quickly, ready to learn a code.
    • Clear memory: press 3 seconds, then press again for 3 seconds when LED flashes — LED flashes twice to confirm.
    • Memory display: press and immediately release — LED flashes a number of times matching codes stored.

    Extended Range Antenna

The optional SK-91ERSD extends the SK-910RAQ's range up to 1,200' (open air) with existing remotes. It has a 9' cable that plugs into the 3-pin antenna port on the receiver's motherboard. Important: if using an extended range antenna with the SK-910RAQ, the PC board loop marked "LP3" must be cut.

    Specifications
