    Installation

    1. Determine the location where the units will be installed and how much Cat5e/6 cable will be necessary.
    2. Connect the transmitter to the HDMI output of the source device.
    3. Connect the transmitter and receiver:
      • One-to-One: connect one end of the Cat5e/6 cable to the transmitter and the other end directly to the receiver.
      • Switch/router: connect one end of the Cat5e/6 cable to the transmitter and the other end to a switch or router, then connect the receiver to the other end of the switch/router with a second cable.
    4. Connect the receiver to the HDMI input of the display or other device.
    5. Connect one 5VDC power adapter to the transmitter and the other to the receiver.
    6. For remote control support: install the IR transmitter extension to the IR OUT port of the transmitter (pointed at the device's IR sensor), and the IR receiver extension to the IR IN port of the receiver (in line of sight of the remote).
    7. Switch on the HDMI source and display to verify the system is functioning — it may take up to a minute to sync the video stream.

    Sample Applications

One-to-One: HDMI source → Transmitter → Cat5e/6 cable (up to max range per Specifications above) → Receiver → HDMI Display. IR transmitter/receiver extensions allow remote control at either end.

One-to-Many (Switch/Router): Multiple transmitter/receiver pairs can share a LAN switch — one HDMI source feeding several displays, each with independent IR remote control at the display end.
