    Parts List (All Models)

1x Manual, 1x Camera, 1x Angled plastic ring, 1x Angled rubber ring, 1x Threaded ring, 2x Stainless-steel screws — plus (EV-5105 models) 1x single-gang plate and 1x slimline plate, or (EV-5145 models) 1x European plate.

    Before Starting

    • Use the camera within given temperature and electrical limits.
    • Do not mount where exposed to rain, moisture, humidity, or dust.
    • Do not point the camera at the sun — heat can damage it even when not in use.
    • Do not mount in areas exposed to radiation, strong magnetic fields, or strong electrical signals.
    • Do not open or disassemble the camera — there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
    • Do not drop the camera or subject it to strong vibrations.

    Wiring / Cable Notes

Important: Do not cut the video or power wires, as doing so voids the warranty. Note polarity when running 12VDC power. The unit connects via a BNC connector for video. To reverse the camera's image, cut the reverse-image wire loop; to restore the default image, reattach the loop and protect any bare wires with electrical tape or similar coating.

Mounting the Camera to the Plate

Position the angled rings behind the plate and twist the threaded ring onto the camera to secure the plate. If an object mounted next to the camera blocks the field of view, the angled rings can instead be installed in front of the wall plate to move the field of vision forward.

    Changing the Mounting Angle

Install the angled plastic ring on the front of the plate so the camera tilts approximately 20°.

    Mounting Options

    • With a plate and back box (suggested): back box not included.
    • With a plate but no back box: drill a hole in the wall large enough to fit the camera; mount the plate directly to the wall (see dimensions in the full PDF).
    • With no plate and no back box: drill a hole in the wall large enough to fit the camera. If mounting to a thick surface, the angled rings may not be necessary. Minimum wall thickness: 5/16" (8mm); maximum wall thickness: 3/4" (20mm).

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Checks
The screen is blank Check camera and monitor are powered up; check power supply polarity is correct; check the video cable connection between camera and monitor.
The screen image is dim Clean the lens with a soft cloth; check that the light source is adequate.
Poor contrast Adjust the monitor's contrast knob; change camera position.
    Image flickers Change camera position.
Image is distorted Change camera position.
Camera case is hot Check that the correct power supply is in use.

    Legal / Compliance

Users and installers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all national, state, and local laws related to monitoring and recording audio/video. Stop using the camera if you notice smoke or unusual heat. Do not open the case — there are no user-serviceable components inside. This equipment complies with FCC Class B digital device limits (Part 15), designed for reasonable protection against interference in commercial environments; residential use may cause interference the user must correct at their own expense.

    Warranty

3-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of sale to the original consumer customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts (transportation prepaid to SECO-LARM). Voided by acts of God, misuse/abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, improper usage, or faulty installation.
