SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-941DA-1K2P — Double Door Maglock Mounting Template

Mounting template for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-941DA-1K2P Double Door Electromagnetic Lock (1,200 lb). This document is a printable drilling template used during installation to mark hole locations for the magnet and armature plate on both leaves of a double door.

What's in This Template

The template provides two identical drilling patterns (one per door) with fold lines and marked hole locations:

• Magnet side — "Place Against Header": Marks two "A" holes for mounting the magnet bracket to the door header. Drill 1/8" (3.2mm) for wood headers, or 5/32" (4mm) for metal headers.
• Armature side — "Place Against Door": Marks a 5/16" (8mm) hole for the armature screw, plus two "B" holes drilled 7/32" (6mm) diameter, 1/2" (12mm) deep, for the anti-spin guide pins.
• Cable access hole location on the header side for running power wiring.
• Fold line: The template folds along the marked dotted line to form a 90° angle so it can be placed accurately across the header/door corner.

How to Use It

1. Fold the template along the dotted center line to form a 90-degree angle.
2. Place the folded template against the header and door at your chosen mounting location (typically the upper free-moving corner of the door, opposite the hinges).
3. Mark the "A" holes on the header side and the "B" holes plus armature screw hole on the door side.
4. Drill according to the marked hole sizes above — use the wood or metal header sizing as appropriate for your frame material.
5. Repeat the same steps for the second door leaf, since a double-door maglock installation requires two separate magnet/armature assemblies.
