    Installation Manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER Retro-Reflective Photoelectric Sensor Entry Alert System, model E-931CS22RRC (22 ft / 7m range).

    Overview

    The E-931CS22RRC is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor entry alert system, perfect for monitoring an entrance or counting foot traffic with an optional counter. It sounds a "ding-dong" chime or siren when the beam is interrupted. All components plug into each other — no hard wiring required.

    Features

    • Retro-reflective photoelectric sensor, range up to 22 feet (7m)
    • Chime or siren sound when the beam is interrupted; speaker volume adjustable or can be turned off
    • In siren mode, sounding time adjustable from 3 to 30 seconds
    • 9VDC adapter included; optional counter (E-931ACC-C) and optional second speaker (E-931ACC-S) available

    Included: retro-reflective photoelectric sensor (transmitter/receiver), reflector, speaker/electronic chime, 9VDC adapter.

    Installation

    1. Mount the reflector and sensor so they face each other, about 2 feet off the ground or knee high
    2. Connect the sensor to the speaker
    3. Connect the power adaptor to the speaker. For signaling in multiple rooms, add an optional second speaker (E-931ACC-S); connect an optional counter (E-931ACC-C) to the speaker output if desired
    4. To find correct alignment, slowly adjust the angles of the sensor and/or reflector up/down and left/right — correct alignment is reached when the red LED turns ON

    Set Speaker Mode

    1. Choose between "Chime," "Alarm," or "OFF"
    2. If "Alarm": set speaker to Alarm, adjust the alarm sounding time (3–30 sec), set speaker volume
    3. If "Chime": set speaker to Chime
    4. If "OFF": set speaker to OFF — it will not sound when the beam is broken

    Using the Optional Counter

    • Automatically increases by 1 when the sensor is triggered
    • Manually add 1 by pressing "+"; subtract 1 by pressing "-"
    • Reset the counter by pressing "RESET"

    Testing

    1. Power up the sensor and speaker — the red LED should be ON
    2. Pass an object between the sensor and reflector — the red LED should turn OFF and the speaker (if connected) should sound

    Troubleshooting

    Sensor does not detect the object Sensor not aligned properly Change the angle of the sensor or reflector
    Red LED does not turn on Reflector/sensor misaligned, or no power Adjust reflector/sensor alignment; check power adapter and cable

    Warranty

    Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of sale to the original customer, when used in normal service. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of any defective part if the unit is returned, transportation pre-paid.
