Quick Installation/Setup Guide for the SECO-LARM Enforcer Bluetooth® Access Controllers (SK-B141 series) — covers basic installation, wiring, and SL Access™ app setup for the keypad/reader.

    Overview

This guide is for installers looking to do a basic installation and setup of the ENFORCER Bluetooth® keypad/reader (SK-B141-DQ shown; other models similar). For more in-depth installation and advanced programming instructions, see the corresponding product page at www.seco-larm.com, or get the complete Installation Manual and SL Access App User Manual from SECO-LARM's website.

    Quick Installation Steps

    1. Use the security screw bit to remove the security screw and remove the housing back.
    2. Hold the back in the desired mounting place; mark mounting and wiring holes.
    3. Drill the five holes. The wiring hole should be at least 1-1/4" (3cm) in diameter.
    4. Feed connected wires through the hole in the wall, taking care not to loosen any connectors.
    5. Mount the back to the wall using the supplied screws and wall anchors (or other screws).
    6. Slide the device to engage the tab on the top of the back, and secure with the security screw.

    Wiring

    • Red: Power (+), polarity insensitive
    • Black: Power (–), polarity insensitive
    • Yellow: N.C. (fail-safe)
    • White: COM
    • Blue: N.O. (fail-secure)
    • Green: RTE
    • Brown: Door Sensor
    • Orange: Alarm

Connect using the yellow wire for fail-safe locks and the blue wire for fail-secure locks. A diode is also required for DC applications and a varistor for maglocks or AC strikes. See the full Installation Manual online for details.

    SL Access™ App Setup

    Getting Started

Download the SL Access™ app from the corresponding app store for your phone (iOS 11.0 and above, Android 5.0 and above).

    Log In to the Device

    1. From a position near the device, click "Login" at the top left of the home screen.
    2. Type "ADMIN" (case sensitive) in the ID section.
    3. Type the factory default ADMIN passcode "12345" as the passcode and click "Confirm".

Important: the administrator's ID is ADMIN and cannot be changed. The factory default passcode should be changed from the "Settings" page immediately for better security. Users log in the same way, but their functionality is limited to unlocking the door, choosing "Auto," and adjusting their "Auto Proximity Range."

    Home Screen Elements

    • "Login" icon, "Device Name", "Settings" icon
    • "Current Device Distance" — shows current signal-based distance to device
    • "Locked" status icon
    • "Auto" selector and "Auto Proximity Range" (current setting)
    • App version number

Note: Bluetooth must be enabled to use the app and the device must be in range. Bluetooth has a limited range of about 60 feet (20m), but often less in practice — move closer to the device if "Searching..." persists.

    Device Settings

    • Device name — give a descriptive name
    • ADMIN passcode — change immediately
    • ADMIN proximity card (except SK-B141-DQ)
    • Door sensor required for door-propped-open / door-forced-open alarm
    • Output mode (global): timed relock, remain unlocked, remain locked, or toggle
    • Timed relock output time: 1~1,800 sec
    • Number of wrong codes that will trigger temporary device lockout
    • Wrong code lockout time
    • Tamper alarm (vibration sensor) with 3 sensitivity levels and 1~255 min duration
    • Auto proximity range — for ADMIN app "Auto" unlock feature
    • Device time — automatically syncs with ADMIN phone date/time
    • Key tone — keypad sounds can be disabled

    Managing Users and Data

Four function buttons on the app allow you to:

    • Open the user page to add or manage users (press "Add" button top right; users are listed in order of addition)
    • View and download the audit trail (view last 1,000 events, save to phone, or email for archive)
    • Back up and restore device settings (also convenient for replicating settings to another device)
    • Edit users, add card/fob (some models), set access and override global output mode
