    Door/header drilling template reference for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-941SA-1200, E-941SA-1K2PD, and E-941SA-1K2PQ 1200-lb single-door electromagnetic locks.

    Overview

    This is a printable drilling template used by installers to mark and drill mounting holes for the SECO-LARM E-941SA-1200 series 1200-lb single-door maglocks (including the 1K2PD delayed-egress and 1K2PQ status-output variants). It shows exact hole locations and sizes for both the header bracket and the door armature plate.

    Drilling Instructions

    • Header mounting holes (marked "A"): For a wood header, drill 1/8" (3.2mm) pilot holes; for a metal header, drill 5/32" (4mm) holes at the two points marked "A".
    • Cable access hole: A separate hole must be drilled/routed to pass the lock's cable through the header — position per the template placed against the header.
    • Guide pin holes (marked "B"): Drill two 7/32" (6mm) holes, 1/2" (12mm) deep, at the points marked "B" on the door face, for the guide pins that keep the armature plate aligned.
    • Armature screw hole: Drill a 5/16" (8mm) hole for the armature mounting screw on the door.

    Placement Guide

    The template has two placement zones printed on it:

    • "Place Against Header" — aligns the electromagnet body mounting holes and the cable access hole on the door header/frame.
    • "Place Against Door" — aligns the armature plate mounting hole and the two guide pin holes on the door itself.

    Notes for Installers

    Always dry-fit the template against the actual header and door before drilling to confirm alignment, especially on non-standard frame widths or where the door swing direction affects magnet/armature positioning. Use the correct hole size for the substrate (wood vs. metal) as specified above to ensure secure mounting given the 1200-lb holding force of this lock series.
