Overview

The MCA-66 digital multi-zone controller amplifier provides up to 6 zones of distributed audio from up to 6 audio sources, scalable to 36 zones by combining multiple controllers. It's part of the Russound Certified Installer (RCI) Program and can only be installed/configured by a Russound Certified Installer.

• Bluetooth® connection allows rack-mounting the MCA-66 while remotely locating the optional BTC-1X Bluetooth receiver up to 300 ft away; BTC-1X improves audio quality via the aptX® codec.
• RNET link allows metadata transmission and connection to Russound RNET Smart Sources (e.g., the ST1 AM/FM external tuner).
• Ethernet-enabled for IP-based control; RIO (Russound I/O) allows bi-directional integration with control systems.
• Free MyRussound App (iOS/Android) controls all Ethernet-connected Russound products on the LAN, including the MCA-66 and its sources.
• Web Config: on-board hosted web page for basic configuration and firmware updates from a smartphone, tablet, or computer; SCS-C5 software offers complete configuration options.
• Custom audio settings, party mode, do-not-disturb, source/zone linking, all-on/all-off, alarm and sleep timers, Home Theater trigger, and 12VDC trigger output for power management. Source 6 can serve as a paging input.

Interface Options

Compatible with the XTS and TS3 touchscreens, MDK-C6 and SLK-1 keypads, and the MyRussound App. The MDK-C6/SLK-1 keypads display preset names, station ID, artist, song titles, and album art depending on source capability. SLK-1 is suited to simpler areas (entry/exit, basic control) where the MyRussound App may be the predominant interface.
