Installation instructions for the RISCO WatchOUT Barrier Swivel (RA300B00000A) — a mounting swivel accessory for use with WatchOUT DT/PIR outdoor detectors.

    Installation Steps

    1. Open the front cover (unlock C1, figure 1).
    2. Release the internal base (unlock I1, figure 2).
    3. Remove the back tamper from the internal base (figure 3).
    4. Move the tamper from the internal base to the barrier conduit (figure 4).
    5. Enter external wires and tamper wires to come out from the swivel upper exit (figure 4).
    6. Secure the barrier swivel to the wall. Pay attention to the tamper "click" (figure 4).
    7. Open knockouts on the external base (figure 5):
      • W1: Wires entry knockout
      • S1, S2: Swivel connection knockouts
      • S3: Angle locking screw knockout
    8. Open the angle locking screw knockout I2 on the internal base (lift the black foam below the red LED, figure 6).
    9. Secure Swivel Angle Selector B1 to the external base using two small screws (figure 7).
    10. Insert cables and tamper wires to B1, through external base (W1) to internal base (figure 7).
    11. Secure the internal base to the external base (lock I1, figure 2).
    12. Insert the supplied angle-locking screw from the PCB (lift the black foam below the red LED) through I2 (figure 6) to the inset slider B3 on the swivel (figure 7).
    13. Adjust the swivel and secure the angle locking screw. Note: use your finger to ensure the inset slider B3 (figure 7) sits in position on the barrier swivel.
    14. Replace the lens to the barrier lens setting: 15m (50ft), 5° (RL300B).
Remember to set the detector to support "long-range/barrier lens" as follows:
      • Relay mode: Set DIP switch 5 to ON.
      • BUS mode: Define programming location [2][0][3][…][5] as 2) Barrier / Long range.
    15. Walk-test the detector and adjust if necessary. Each line mark on B1 represents a 2° movement (figure 7).
    16. Secure the cable protection cap B2 and close the front cover (figure 7). Note: once the cable protection cap B2 is secured, it can only be removed by releasing the front cover, unlocking the angle locking screw, and pressing B2's internal snaps.

Compatible detector: WatchOUT DT / PIR.
