Overview

The RS15 is a remote wall-mount temperature sensor for TS15 and TS36 wall display units (WDUs). Up to four remote sensors can be connected to the WDU remote sensor connector.

Auto Detect

When remote sensors are attached to the WDU, the unit automatically scans for the connected remote sensors and configures itself accordingly. Each sensor can be calibrated independently.

Sensor Functions

• Address 1: Use the Remote Sensor instead of the internal sensor
• Address 2: Average Remote Sensor 2 with internal sensor (or Remote Sensor Address 1 if present)
• Address 3: Average Remote Sensor 3 with Remote Sensor 2 and internal sensor (or Remote Sensor Address 1 if present)
• Address 4: Use Remote Sensor for outside temperature (can be used with all other combinations)

Sensor Connection

The RS15 connects to the remote sensor terminals on the wall display units. Maximum cable length is 300 ft of twisted pair wire. Wiring: 4 wire (2 power, 2 data) — Cat 3 or Cat 5 cable is acceptable.

To remove the cover, loosen (but do not remove) the 5/64" hex head screw.
