    Complete user manual for the Qubino Flush 1 Relay (model ZMNHAD3 and related ZMNHAD-series variants) — a Z-Wave in-wall relay module that controls on/off for one electrical device, measures its power consumption, and can pair with an optional digital temperature sensor. It installs behind a wall switch, behind a power socket, or in an electrical junction box.

    Overview

    • Controls ON/OFF for one electrical load and measures its power consumption (W, kWh)
    • Optional external digital temperature sensor input (sold separately, part ZMNHEA1) enables temperature-based scenes
    • Supports push-button (momentary) and standard toggle switches
    • Acts as a Z-Wave repeater to extend network range and stability
    • Two additional inputs (I2, I3) can trigger scenes (e.g., "all lights on" / "all lights off")

    Typical Use Cases

    • Behind a wall switch: lights, ceiling fans, wall-mounted fans, domestic hot water tanks, infrared heaters, and scene-triggering switches
    • Behind a power socket: ovens, irons, fans, floor lamps, microwaves, TVs, computers, and standalone power-consumption monitoring (e.g., refrigerators)
    • In an electrical junction box: 24VDC or 110/240VAC irrigation sprinkler valves, sanitary hot water recirculation pumps, pool recirculation pumps

    Installation Overview

    Full illustrated wiring diagrams are in the downloadable PDF. High-level sequence:

    1. Turn OFF the fuse. Disconnect power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before installation or maintenance — verify no voltage remains in the wiring before proceeding.
    2. Install the device according to the wiring diagram for your setup: single switch, on/off switch with scene switches, 2+ switches controlling the same light, 2-way switch, multi-way switches, or a switch box with no neutral line.
    3. Position the antenna as upright as possible, away from metal, and do not shorten it — this maximizes range (up to 98 ft / 30 m line of sight).
    4. Turn ON the fuse.
    5. Add the device to your Z-Wave network (see Inclusion below).

    Electrical Diagram Reference (110–240VAC, 24VDC)

    • N — Neutral wire (+VDC)
    • L — Live (line) wire (−VDC)
    • Q↑ — Output for electrical device (load) no. 1
    • I1 — Input for switch/push button
    • I2 / I3 — Inputs for switch/push button or sensor
    • TS — Temperature sensor terminal
    • S — Service button (must NOT be used when connected to 110–240V power supply)
    • Wago 221-413 splicing connectors for L and N connection must be used only when connected to 240VAC

    Overload protection: Electrical installation must be protected by a directly associated overcurrent protection fuse, 10A gG or Time-lag T, rated breaking capacity 1500A (ESKA 522.727), installed in an Adels Contact 503Si/1 DS fuse holder per IEC60669-2-1. Max Power Limit is set automatically by software — if exceeded for more than 5 seconds, the output shuts off until the next restart, and an "Over-load detected" event is sent to the gateway.

    Z-Wave Network — Inclusion / Exclusion / Reset

    Auto Inclusion

    1. Enable add/remove mode on your Z-Wave gateway (hub).
    2. Connect the device to power (with the temperature sensor already connected, if used).
    3. Auto-inclusion starts within 5 seconds and completes within the first 2 minutes of power-up.

    Manual Inclusion

    1. Enable add/remove mode on the gateway.
    2. Connect the device to power.
    3. Toggle the I1 switch 3 times within 5 seconds — OR, if powered by 24V SELV, press and hold the S (Service) button for 2–6 seconds.
    4. A new multi-channel device appears on your dashboard.

    Important: Before connecting the temperature sensor, switch off power and make sure the device is excluded from your network first, then reconnect power, connect the sensor, and re-include.

    Exclusion

    Connect the device to power, ensure it's within range of the gateway, enable add/remove mode, then toggle I1 three times within 5 seconds (or hold the S button 2–6 seconds on 24V SELV power). Custom configuration parameters are NOT erased on exclusion.

    Factory Reset

    Within the first 60 seconds after power-up, toggle the I1 switch 5 times within 5 seconds (or hold the S button for more than 6 seconds on 24V SELV power). This erases all custom parameters and the owner ID — use only when the primary gateway is missing or inoperable.
