    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation instructions for the On-Q/Legrand LC7001 Whole House Lighting Controller — a wireless hub that pairs with the Legrand Lighting Control iOS app to enable control and full time-of-day automation for all Legrand RF Lighting Control devices from Apple smartphones and tablets.

    Physical Connections

    • Network Connection: Ethernet port on the rear of the unit — connects to a home network switch/router.
    • Power Connector: Powers the unit; PoE is also supported.
    • Reset Button: Holding for 10 seconds restores factory defaults.
    • Status LED: Indicates discovery state (see below).

    Installation Steps

    1. Place the LC7001 in a convenient location near an available Ethernet port on the home network's switch/router.
    2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the LAN/PoE port on the rear of the LC7001 to the available port on the home network device. If PoE power is desired, ensure the cable is connected to a PoE-capable port.
    3. Power on the unit. The Status LED will illuminate:
      • Amber — Lights have NOT yet been discovered by the LC7001.
      • Green — Lights have been discovered by the LC7001.
    4. Download the Legrand Lighting Control app from the Apple App Store onto an iOS device. Requires iOS 8.3 or higher. (iPhones display one pane at a time; iPads display two panes at once in landscape orientation.)
    5. Launch the app on the mobile device — it will automatically discover the LC7001. If not discovered, verify the unit is powered with the network cable connected, and that the mobile device is on the home's Wi-Fi network.
    6. The app will prompt you to tap each Lighting Dimmer or Switch in the home (toggling it Off/On) and name each device as it's discovered. Once all devices are named, press "Done."
    7. When connected to the Internet, the app automatically determines your ZIP code and gathers local sunrise/sunset times for time-of-day automation. Without an internet connection during setup, manually set the ZIP code via Settings > Location.

Physical installation is now complete. For details on using the LC7001 from the Lighting Control App, refer to the LC7001 Whole House Lighting Controller User Guide (P/N 1308243), available at www.legrand.us.
