Overview

The AC3460V0 is a high-performance Cat 6 RJ45 field-termination plug used to terminate Ethernet patch cables. It's crimped onto the cable using a wire guide (load bar) system for consistent, high-quality Cat 6 terminations.

Termination Steps

1. Strip approximately 1" of the cable jacket to expose the four wire pairs.
2. Use a stripping tool to cleanly remove the jacket without nicking the conductors.
3. Untwist and arrange the four wire pairs in the correct order: Brown, Blue, Orange, Green.
4. Trim the eight individual wires to approximately 0.5" in length.
5. Align the wires with the wire guide (load bar).
6. Insert the wire guide with the wires seated into the RJ45 plug housing.
7. Crimp the connector using a proper Cat 6 crimping tool.
